FOXERS Masquerade Review

F oxers, is bringing the sophistication and style for lingerie’s hottest season with their all-new Romantic Collections. Foxers has just released their sumptuousMasquerade styles, one of their two-part Romantic Collection, just in time for Valentine’s Day! TLJ had the chance to review three of the top pieces from Masquerade: Cranberry Boyshort with Masquerade Band, Cranberry Cropped Lace Top and the matching lace boxers.
All three pieces share a rich cranberry hue accented with a gold and black scribble patterned textile and delicate gold bows. The combination is fun, funky and fresh for the biggest lingerie-centric holiday of the year!
My favorite piece from the three samples is the delicate cranberry lace cami. The fabric is so delicate and soft that it gives a ‘barely there’ feel for the wearer. This lovely lingerie piece is easy to wear and looks fabulous peaking from behind a cashmere cardigan. What Foxers does really well is combining style with comfort.
Many times, wearing lingerie can feel very intricate to put on, intimidating and uncomfortable to wear, scaring off shoppers from the world of intimate apparel. This wire-free lace camisole from Foxers is easy to wear and incorporate into your daily life for that needed dose of everyday sexy. My sample of the small sized lace cami worked perfectly for me, (generally a size 30DD/32D). The Masquerade cami is a great gifting item as it’s patterned to easily accommodate a range of sizes. The vertical center seam down the cup provides more room for a variety of cup-sizes. The lace fabric also gives a bit of stretch so it’s comfortable for a range of band sizes as well. These general sized items are perfect for gift-giving! Not to mention, this flirty top has matching boxer options!
Foxers is so well-known and loved for their boxers that I couldn’t wait to get my hands on a pair of these cult-favorite panties! The Masquerade collection include two variations of this signature style; the cranberry lace boxers and the cranberry boxer brief in a soft cotton blend. Personally, I prefer the lace boxer. It’s gives that great “matchy-matchy†look with the lace camisole and is a bit more romantic with its indulgent cranberry lace. The lace is also double layered in the center of the panty providing modesty for those weary of see-through lace styles on bottom.
One of the best features of the boxer styles is the flippable Foxers logo waist band! This fit feature reminds me of the best sport shorts I had in high-school. So comfy! This also gives the boxers that athleisure style that customers love. The cranberry boxer briefs are 92% cotton and 8% spandex for a gentle, form-fitting stretch. These boxers from the Masquerade collection feature real, usable pockets, two working snaps in the front, and black lace around the leg openings. Both the lace boxer and the cotton boxer feature cotton gussets for comfort and hygiene.
Foxers’ founder and designer,April Spring, created this collection with the idea of it working for multiple occasions, not just Valentine’s Day. She explained to The Lingerie Journal earlier, “A lot of people want to buy red lace,†she says. “We used to do the bright red lace, but it wasn’t really my color. With this deep rich red I think we can have the best of both worldsâ€. The cranberry hue for the Masquerade collection is extremely flattering on multiple skin tones and isn’t limited to strictly Valentine’s Day wear.
Sleepwear and loungewear are a perfect area to highlight during the Valentine’s Day season. Shoppers are not looking for lingerie that only works for just a single event.
